甘羅傑 -- 如果有一位真神，為甚麼有其他的宗教呢？
Roger Campbell -- If One True God, Why Other Religions?
Moving on to our third question...oh...what is it, I forget...
Oh, that's right. If..
If there is a one true God; if this God is our creator, and everything was created by him..
..then why are there other religions?
Why is there Buddhism, Islam, etc?
In fact, when we study Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 we find
that God created all men with free will.
In the Bible, God plainly tells us how he wants us to act as men.
With his Word he guides our paths.
But in the end, the choice is ours.
It's like God told Adam and Eve
-- When you live in the garden of Eden, of every tree of the garden you may freely eat.
But there is one exception, he said, if you eat of it there will be consequences.
So at the time they understood they could choose: to obey God or to not obey God.
If they obeyed God, he would bless them. If they didn't obey God, he would have to curse them.
I think of the Israelites at Mount Sinai.
Moses went up the mountain to receive the Ten Commandments.
When Moses was on the mountain, what about the Israelites who remained below?
They told Moses' brother Aaron: Hey! We need a god!
So they took gold and made a golden calf.
Now when the Israelites were worshiping the golden calf, did they or did they not know that worshiping idols was wrong?
They already knew.
Because God had already verbally given them the Ten Commandments.
And in the Ten Commandments God said: "You shall not carve an idol."
So this example shows us
that even when God has already spoken very clearly, he doesn't force, he doesn't constrain men to obey him.
So people already know God's truth,
but at the same time they have their own opinions; and do whatever they want to.
We often read of false prophets in the Old Testament.
In the New Testament we often read of false prophets as well.
Jesus said, "Beware of false prophets."
The New Testament also speaks of false gods, false apostles, false prophets, false teachers and false brethren.
So there is true, and there is false.
There is the truth of God, and there is false doctrine.
So false doctrine exists,
false prophets exist,
false religion exists;
but this doesn't prove there is no one true God, this doesn't prove that the Bible is not His Truth,
it only says that man has his own way of thinking.
But we must understand this one thing: The thinking of man differs from the thinking of God. Right?
God has said before: For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
His ways and His thoughts are higher than man's ways and man's thoughts.
But we remember what Jesus said:
"You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
Even though false teaching exists, it will never sway the purity of truth.
That's all. Thank you.

No profanity, please, "... but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear." (Eph 4:29)
